Frequently asked questions
How often does Monitra check my site?
Free plans are checked every 30 minutes; Pro plans every 5 minutes. Because checks are scheduled, detection is not instantaneous and can take up to the plan interval plus confirmation and delivery time.
How does Monitra reduce false alarms?
A failed request is retried once after about 10 seconds. An alert is sent only when a previously healthy site is confirmed down. Both attempts currently run from the same monitoring deployment; multi-region confirmation is not yet available.
How will I be notified if my site goes down?
Pro plans receive an email or webhook after an outage is confirmed, and another when the site recovers. Discord URLs get a message; other webhooks get JSON. We never repeat alerts while a site stays down.
What if my site returns 200 but is actually broken?
Set an expected piece of text when you add a website. If the page loads without it, the check counts as down — so error pages served with a 200 do not slip past.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page — no questions asked.
